From a Groom Who Couldn't Picture It

Everyone jokes that I've been planning my wedding since I was a little boy. The truth? I've been waiting for my wedding since I was little – but planning requires being able to actually visualize something, and that's where I was completely stuck.

The Problem

When my fiancée and I got engaged, she could instantly picture every detail of our wedding day. The flowers cascading down the aisle at the NY Botanical Garden, the warm glow of string lights during our first dance, the way her dress would look against the garden's stunning backdrop.

Me? I saw... a venue. That's it. A beautiful space with infinite potential that I just couldn't picture transformed into our day.

The Search

I spent countless hours searching for a tool that could help me see what my partner saw so naturally in her mind. I tried mood boards – too generic. Pinterest – beautiful, but not our venue. 3D planning tools – too technical and cold.

Nothing could answer my simple question: "What will OUR venue look like with OUR vision on OUR day?"

The Decision

So I did what any reasonable person would do – I spent months building the tool I desperately needed. (Okay, maybe not that reasonable, but love makes you do ambitious things.)

The Mission

WedVis was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves to see their wedding vision come to life before the big day. Whether you're someone with a crystal-clear mental picture, or like me, needing a little help to visualize the magic – this tool is for you.

If WedVis helps just a few couples confidently say "yes, that's exactly what I dreamed of" – then every late night building this was worth it.

As for our wedding at the NY Botanical Garden? I can finally picture it. Every detail. And it's even more beautiful than I imagined it would be... once I could actually imagine it.

Here's to bringing your vision to life,

A.J. Otranto

Founder & CEO (and excited groom-to-be)
